each following section was one tweet in the original 15-tweet long angry thread starting from the one above.
(that I accidentally deleted)
I'm sick and tired of experiencing the contagious, wonderful techno-optimistic bliss of e/acc and sf in general, but not being able to communicate it with my family and old friends.
My old friends say I became "too optimistic", and they liked my old self more.
I don't care.
I am not bending myself to conform with subpar standards, and a shitty culture.
An abomination of a state, that's only a memory of how great it used to be.
Tigranes the Great could compete with Roman empire head on.
Stretched the borders to touch 2 sees, now we have 0.
This is infuriating, and every Armenian with some spark left in them should take it as a challenge, and go fucking build.
You can't outsource your agency as a citizen to government.
You can't blame others, and sit comfortably.
YOU are responsible for your misery.
We had a major war in 2020, which killed thousands of 18-20 y.o.-s including 2 of my friends.
We had the sequel of that in 2023, where Azerbaijan took the leftovers of the territory by force and purged 120,000 ethnic Armenian from their homes.
This is an existential threat.
What turned my deep hatred of the state to this newfound patriotism was the existential threat.
I do NOT want my country to disappear from the map, and it really might.
I don't want to say "it is ok, don't worry" to condolences about losing my country, not even friends.
I don't know how much is this known in US, or my Twitter bubble.
Armenia has been through war 3 times in the last 40 years, and the last two were clearly offensive and aligned with expansionist ambitions of Turkey.
War sucks in general, but it sucks even more, when you're a small country attacked by your neighbor who hates you clearly supported by Turkey (a much bigger fish), mercenaries, Israeli drones, and god known what else.
(to be clear, I blame no individual, but I blame the state)
It especially sucks when your only major ally - Russia, has a sneaky link with your enemy, the neighbor who openly wishes you dead.
In the last 1-2 years Armenian government turned against Russia and is doing reasonable steps to become pro-EU and pro-West.
I support it, and want to accelerate it.
It's already a decent startup hub, and a beloved location for nomads, or people forced to move like Russian / Ukrainian war refugees.
But it can be much bigger.
Our first step is recruiting early members who're already fired up about this.
Second step is creating a centralized database of every single worthwhile opportunity - local + international.
Third step is TBD w/ the community.
I will carry the torch and crush every take or action that's against the development of the state (aka decels).
Inspired by how @BasedBeffJezos, @bayeslord and others do it in our little world of X.
If I can't do it myself, I'll do what's necessary to build towards that.
DMs are open to any supporters.
Be it a fellow Armenian (cc) @albfresco @karakhanyanS @alec_dilanchian
Or a supporter not bound by ethnicity or nation (cc)
Please share w/ whoever is relevant to this.
There's no way I can do this solo, but I can pull it for long enough.
last note:
first one who figures out why is my @ tigran_iii gets something nice from me :)
doesn't count if i told you myself.
now you know the beginning — the what, when, where and even why.
since the beginning up-to today the missing piece, and what many of you asked me about was the how.
today it’s more clear than ever, and I’ll be gradually sharing the vision with all of you.
the title will be “on the state of arm/acc (and our next steps)”.
thank you for following along the journey, this would never be possible w/o all of you.
your’s truly,
- Tigran III — the philosopher king of 🇦🇲/acc

You literally have no solutions other than “we can do this!”
